The Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has affirmed the election of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The petition filed by Ladi Adebutu was dismissed by the Hamidu Kunaza-led three-man tribunal for being “incompetent.”
The panel affirmed Abiodun’s election while dismissing Adebutu’s petition in an 11-hour-long decision.
The tribunal ruled unanimously that “the petition lacks merit and is hereby dismissed.”
