Reality TV star Mercy Eke revealed her preference for keeping her dating life private, citing past experiences as the reason for her discretion.

Speaking on a recent episode of Celebrity Quickies featured on comedian AY’s YouTube channel, Mercy shared that while she has found love again, she has chosen not to disclose the identity of her current partner.

Reflecting on her past, she admitted to oversharing her dating experiences on social media and acknowledged the mistakes she made in doing so. Presently, she emphasizes the importance of maintaining privacy in this aspect of her life.

Mercy further disclosed that she maintains constant communication with her undisclosed partner and highlighted the pressure faced by Nigerian celebrities, particularly from those around them.

Despite this, she expressed optimism about the achievements and advancements being made by celebrities in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Addressing previous speculations, Mercy clarified that she and her former Big Brother Naija colleague Pere were not romantically involved, contrary to rumors sparked by their on-screen chemistry during the Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show.

Prior to this, Mercy had been in a relationship with another BBNaija contestant, Ike, which commenced during the ‘Pepper Dem’ edition in 2019 but ended shortly after the conclusion of the show.
