Gary Neville, former captain of Manchester United, has stated that the club has already made a decision regarding the future of manager Erik ten Hag.
Recently, Manchester United’s four-game winning streak in the Premier League came to an end with a 2-1 loss at home to Fulham.
This result has left Ten Hag’s team eight points behind the top four positions.
Even though the new Champions League format means that finishing fifth would likely secure a place in next season’s competition, Neville has pointed out the team’s unclear playing style under Ten Hag as a major concern.
“If you look at [Omar Berrada] coming in from City as CEO and looking to get Dan Ashworth from Newcastle, they’re going to make a decision quite quickly if they haven’t already.
“I suspect Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Dave Brailsford already know whether Erik ten Hag will be the manager next season. I can’t believe they’re going to wait until May to make that decision and then leave themselves short,” Neville said on Monday Night Football.
