Nigerian artist Lil Frosh, formerly associated with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), has made a public plea to his former mentor for a chance at redemption.
This comes after Lil Frosh was embroiled in a controversy in 2020, facing allegations of assault from his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille, as her brother, Michael, detailed instances of abuse on social media alongside photos of Camille’s injuries.
Legal action ensued, leading to Lil Frosh’s detainment in Ikoyi prison following his arraignment in a Yaba magistrate court. In response, Davido terminated Lil Frosh’s contract with DMW. Despite Camille retracting her accusations and settling out of court in 2022, Lil Frosh maintains his innocence, alleging framing and blackmail.
Taking to Instagram, he pleaded for Davido’s reconsideration, citing his attempts to explain the situation to no avail due to Davido’s strict stance against violence towards women. Lil Frosh urged supporters to help persuade Davido to grant him another chance to revive his career.
