Nigerian artist Damilola Afolabi, better known as L.A.X, recently unveiled the one condition that would lead him to break his abstinence from alcohol: a whopping N100 million offer.

In a candid interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, the former Starboy Entertainment artist candidly expressed his readiness to embrace alcohol for such a substantial sum.

L.A.X emphasised the pivotal role money plays in motivating artists to embark on tours, asserting his willingness to perform globally, even in locations like Saudi Arabia, as long as there’s a significant financial incentive.

While humorously stating his current sobriety, L.A.X quipped, “Right now, I don’t drink, but if you give me N100 million, I will drink two bottles of rozay.”

Beyond the amusing revelation, L.A.X delved into his feelings of being underrated in the Nigerian music industry during the interview. Despite sensing this undervaluation, he maintained a positive outlook, expressing contentment in pursuing his passion. According to L.A.X, the global audience is recognising his efforts, and the journey of being underrated is a testament to being acknowledged in some capacity within the industry.
