Kennedy Iyere has been chosen as the candidate of the Accord party for the upcoming Edo State governorship election.
He received the party’s ticket when five other candidates withdrew from the race the day before the primary election.
Iyere was officially named as the candidate to represent the Accord party in the September 2024 election.
Following his selection, Iyere expressed his belief that his fellow candidates withdrew from the race based on his merit. He is determined to win the governorship election.
