Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo continues to enjoy her vacation with her partner Paulo amidst the recent libel accusations made against her by singer Naira Marley.
The reality TV star shared a video capturing moments from her ongoing trip with her boyfriend, expressing affectionate sentiments in her caption. Ojo also conveyed her excitement about her upcoming 46th birthday on December 21, 2023.
Ojo and her partner commenced their vacation on December 11, 2023, starting at Oniru Beach in Lagos State, then journeying to the United Kingdom, followed by a flight to the United States of America.
In the midst of her getaway, she faced a ₦500 million libel charge from Naira Marley, delivered in a letter dated December 12, 2023. The singer, represented by his legal team, alleged that Ojo’s statements in September were defamatory and caused harm to his brand and reputation. He demanded a public apology and retraction, warning of legal action if not met within seven days.
In response to the charges, Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, took to her Instagram account to criticise Marley, urging him to focus on his ongoing court cases and leave her mother alone. Despite these developments, Ojo has not publicly addressed the accusations.
