Nigerian musician Ruggedman has made a notable claim, alleging that he introduced singer 9ice to his ex-wife, Toni Payne, but was not invited to their wedding.
Recounting the incident during an interview with prominent media personality Chude Jideonwo, Ruggedman revealed that he received a surprising call from Toni Payne on a particular Saturday, informing him of their wedding day and revealing that 9ice had instructed her not to invite him.
“I introduced 9ice to Toni Payne, but I wasn’t invited to their wedding,” Ruggedman stated. “One Saturday morning, I received a call from Toni Payne. She exclaimed, ‘Where are you?’ I replied, ‘At home.’ She then disclosed that they were getting married that day. I questioned why she hadn’t informed me earlier, to which she explained that 9ice had instructed her not to.”
9ice and Toni Payne ended their relationship a decade ago following allegations by the singer that his wife was involved in an extramarital affair with Ruggedman. However, it’s reported that the music stars eventually resolved their differences.
