Michael Graham, a board member of the NTSB, gave an update on Sunday regarding their visit to the accident site. He outlined the activities that were conducted on the first day of the investigation.

These activities included aerial drone mapping, documenting the site, and thoroughly examining the debris field with the airworthiness group.

The debris field, which was about 100 yards long, contained all the major parts of the helicopter, such as the rotor blades, transmission, engine, tail rotor, landing gear skids, and various avionics components.
