Erling Haaland scored an incredible five goals to help Manchester City advance to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a dominant 6-2 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
Haaland’s partnership with Kevin de Bruyne was exceptional, with the Belgian providing three assists for the striker to complete a hat-trick in the first half.
Luton Town’s Jordan Clark scored a brilliant goal just before half-time and then added another with a superb volley from Ross Barkley’s pass, giving the hosts a glimmer of hope for a comeback.
Despite Luton’s initial momentum, the visitors quickly turned the tide with two goals from Haaland before the hour mark, assisted by De Bruyne.
Mateo Kovacic added insult to injury with a long-range goal 18 minutes before the end, securing City’s spot in the last eight.
Luton will now shift their focus to their fight for Premier League survival as they face Aston Villa on Saturday, while Manchester City will play against Manchester United at home on Sunday.
