Nigerian first lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Vice President’s wife Nana Shettima, and other prominent female members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have visited the ailing Nollywood Zack Orji, who is hospitalised at the National Hospital in Abuja.
The First Lady, who initially visited the hospital to celebrate the first baby of the year, spent 13 minutes with the actor.
Reports from the hospital indicated that Zack Orji’s health has shown signs of improvement, a positive outcome attributed to the intervention of Kennedy-Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs, who ensured he received top-notch medical attention at the national hospital.
Tayo Hastrup, the National Hospital Public Relations Officer (PRO), provided an update, stating, “He has started talking. He is in stable condition. His wife is by his side. We really thank God for him.” The actor had been urgently taken to the National Hospital over the weekend after reportedly collapsing in his toilet.
Other government dignitaries at the hospital were Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, Mrs. Rachael Umahi (wife of the Minister for Works), and Mrs. Bello Matawalle (wife of the Minister of State for Defence).
