Nigerian music sensation Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly recognized as Fireboy DML, recently shared insights into his career journey.

Fireboy revealed that he turned down multiple lucrative offers from heavyweight artists and music executives before ultimately signing with rapper Olamide‘s YBNL Nation in 2018.

Speaking in a recent interview with Billboard News in Los Angeles, Fireboy emphasized that his decision to accept Olamide’s offer was guided by a strong conviction that it was the right move for his career.

“I had declined several offers from prominent artists who sought to sign me. But when Olamide approached me, I instinctively knew it was the right decision,” Fireboy stated.

Meanwhile, he further explained that this pivotal moment in his career has profoundly influenced his decision-making process ever since.
