A netizen has expressed his dissatisfaction with Davido’s statement about never receiving a birthday gift after being gifted a Rolex by Memphis Depay.
Allub Times reports that Davido had publicly thanked Memphis Depay for the Rolex he received on his own birthday, claiming he had never before received such gifts and had always been the one to give.
However, one fan took to social media to voice his disappointment with Davido’s remarks.
The fan recalled how people had collectively donated over 200 million Naira for Davido’s birthday, which he later distributed to orphanages in the country.
Expressing frustration, the fan questioned Davido’s gratitude, stating, “Is this the thanks we get after all the support?”
