Chelsea forward Carney Chukwuemeka recently shared his dream of playing at Wembley Stadium in London.
The England U21 star is looking forward to the opportunity to play there. Chelsea is set to face Manchester City in the semifinals of the 2023–2024 FA Cup at Wembley.
Chukwuemeka and Chinonso ‘Noni’ Madueke played crucial roles in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory against Leicester City, coming off the bench to inspire the team.
Chukwuemeka did not participate in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on February 25, 2024, where Chelsea faced Liverpool.
“We went into this season wanting to win trophies and play in finals,” he told Chelsea’s official website.
“So it’s a massive opportunity for us as a young squad. Another opportunity to play at Wembley, and hopefully we get to the final.
“It’s amazing for me. I missed the Carabao Cup final due to injury so to get the chance to play at Wembley is the stuff of dreams for me.
“It’s something I dreamt about as a kid as I’m a Chelsea fan, so I can’t wait.”
