Cole Palmer scored two goals for Chelsea, but it wasn’t enough as they were held to a 2-2 draw by ten-man Burnley in the Premier League.

Despite Burnley being down to ten men early in the game, they managed to equalize twice at Stamford Bridge.

Josh Cullen and Dara O’Shea scored in the second half to secure a valuable point for Burnley, who are fighting against relegation.

Chelsea had opportunities through Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson, and Axel Disasi had a goal disallowed by VAR before Palmer’s goals just before half-time.

Assignon was sent off for a second yellow card after fouling Mykhailo Mudryk in the penalty area. Palmer then scored a clever Panenka penalty to give the home team the lead.

Burnley quickly equalized when Cullen scored a fantastic 20-yard volley after a nice pass from Brownhill.

Palmer scored again for Chelsea in the 78th minute, but O’Shea headed in a goal for Burnley just four minutes later to level the score once more.

Both teams had chances to win the game late on, with Sterling missing a close-range header and Rodriguez hitting the crossbar. In the end, the match ended in a draw at Stamford Bridge.
