Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), lost her private property to fire on Sunday.
Allub Times gathered that the minister’s house is in Abuja’s affluent Asokoro neighborhood.
According to the Daily Trust, the fire began in the afternoon, and firemen failed to respond to the event quickly enough, exacerbating the situation.
Though no official statement has been issued, Austine Elemue, the minister’s spokesperson, acknowledged the occurrence but did not provide any details.
He stated that the reason for the fire breakout was being probed.
