Bellingham Reaches 25 Goal Involvements As Real Madrid Go Top La Liga

Real Madrid defeated Villarreal 4-1 at the Bernabeu on Sunday to take a seven-point lead over rival Barcelona in La Liga.

In the 25th minute, Jude Bellingham scored the first goal of the game with a header after an excellent cross from Luka Modric.

Later on, Modric, Brahim Diaz, and Rodrygo joined Bellingham on the scoreboard. The consolation goal for Villarreal was scored by Jose Luis Morales.

Bellingham joined Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in June, and in his first 20 games, he has now scored 17 goals.

Additionally, the 20-year-old has helped the Spanish team score five goals.

This season, Bellingham has also performed admirably for England. In three international games, he has contributed two assists and one goal.

Since the beginning of August, Bellingham has contributed 25 goal involvements for club and country in just 23 games.

The next match of the calendar year will see Madrid travel to Alaves on Thursday.
