Bandits Kidnap Tsangaya Students In Sokoto Days Kaduna School Abduction

Bandits have reportedly kidnapped an unknown number of Tsangaya students at Gidan Bakuso in Gada local government area of Sokoto state.

Allub Times learned that the students were taken from their school around 1 a.m. on Saturday.

The school’s owner, Liman Abubakar, according to Daily Trust, mentioned that 15 students are currently missing, but the count is ongoing.

Abubakar stated that the bandits came into the town at 1 a.m., shot one person, and kidnapped a woman.

“We have so far counted 15 who are missing, and we are still searching for more,” he said.

Abubakar mentioned that the village had been attacked by bandits before.

Kabiru Dauda, the member representing Gada-East Constituency at the state House of Assembly, confirmed the attack. He received a call around 2am informing him that the village had been invaded by bandits.

“I reached out to the local government authorities and security agencies and I am sure they are doing something about it,” he said.
